CIEH Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety

 
How Long is the course?
It is a 5 day intensive course and one day written exam
 
Who needs this qualification?
Management that require an in depth knowledge of food hygiene, food safety trainers, hygiene auditors and those responsible for managing a food safety management system.

Is there a test involved?
Candidates are required to undertake two assignments of approximately 2500 words which must be successfully completed before entering for the two and a half hour written examination.
 
How will this impact my work?
On completing this qualification candidates will be able to demonstrate an in depth knowledge of food hygiene which enables them to formulate, implement and manage a superior food hygiene policy.
 
Things you should know.
As a pre-requisite, candidates must have the CIEH level 3 food safety award or equivalent knowledge. This qualification requires candidates to have an analytical approach to food hygiene. Candidates will be encouraged to demonstrate how they can communicate legislation and positively encourage good standards within the workplace. This qualification is QCA accredited.
 
The course, workbooks and exam papers are available only in English. Lunch is not included though we will have a break for an hour so everyone can get out for a bit of fresh air and a bite to eat.
