Two Day Conversion Programme

How long is the course?

It is a 2 day course.

Who needs it? 
Two-day conversion programme: for those already holding a CIEH
Professional Trainers Certificate or TSP and wishing to upgrade to PTLLS,
whether to comply with the new standards or to develop their career. Candidates completing the conversion programme will, if they pass Assignments 2 and 3, achieve a PTLLS award.

This qualification has been developed for anyone entering teaching or training roles or already in-service who needs to achieve the minimum threshold status as a teacher in the lifelong learning sector – that is, adult and community learning and development, further education, libraries, archives and information services and work-based learning.

By 2010, anyone who teaches courses that are publicly-funded will have to be qualified. This qualification introduces the knowledge and skills required by teachers to develop and deliver programmes, provide learning support and take responsibility in managing the learning process in post-16 education.

Things you should know
Course, workbooks and exam paper are only available in English. Lunch is not included though we will have a break for 45 minutes so everyone can get out for a bit of fresh air and a bite to eat.
