How long is the course?
An Apprenticeship qualification will take a minimum of one year to complete.
Who needs this qualification?
This qualification is aimed at those working in a customer - service focused career. The Apprenticeship in Customer Service helps you build your skills while you gain valuable work experience. NVQ Level 3 is also available for senior members of staff, or as a progression.
An Apprenticeship is made up of the following

NVQ Level 2 Customer Service
Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service
Level 1 Functional Skills English
Level 1 Functional Skills Maths
Employee Rights and Responsibilities (ERRs)
Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS)
What am I going to learn?
During the course, you will learn the basic skills and knowledge required to complete Functional Skills in English and Maths. The Technical Certificate and NVQ are linked by study notes and what you must know questions which will provide you with the background knowledge and understanding to complete the tests involved. The NVQ qualification is made up of mandatory units which are listed below - always check that you are able to cover these units before enrolling on the course:
How does it work?
Apprenticeship qualifications are delivered in the workplace, at a time that is convenient to you. Taught by friendly and professional trainers and assessors who will utilise the course hours and visits to support and encourage active participation.
Your assessor will visit your workplace twice a month
Coursework will involve written assignments, knowledge questions, and online tests
Homework will involve reading, research and written assignments
